Dr. Penelope Hirt, MD is a distinguished dermatologist specializing in both pediatric and adult dermatology. She completed her medical education at the Central University of Venezuela, the top medical school in her country, graduating in the top 10 of her class. Furthering her expertise in the medical field, Dr. Hirt spent a year of study in basic science research at the University of Miami, followed by a three-year clinical research fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology and wound healing. Dr. Hirt completed her intern year at Aventura Hospital and her Dermatology Residency at Larkin Community Hospital, where she served as chief resident and was awarded Outstanding Resident of the Year.
